Comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)

          Students with serious behavior problems are at the highest risk for school failure, incarceration, and dismal post school outcomes. These students CAN be successful, but it takes time and a group of committed people working together to assess, intervene, monitor intervention effectiveness, and revise interventions as needed.

          EdPro Development brings over 25 years of experience in successfully supporting schools, these students, and their families. We have developed a series of workshops to build educator and family expertise.  Our experience and the research both emphasize that successful behavior support plans (BSPs) are those derived from comprehensive functional behavior assessment (FBA) results. Well conducted FBAs answer the question, "Why?"  We have conducted over 100 different FBAs and have multiple FBA tools to match the needs of your students at your school or in your school district. A nationally recognized behavior consultant will come to your school and begin your FBA process. Beginning with the Initial Line of Inquiry and generating a BSP, we can help support students with the most challenging behaviors. 

          EdPro Development will also provide critical onsite coaching and team facilitation to support the team members and student all along the way. Each team forms a professional learning community as the team members seek to teach and support the student and each other.  We bring with us research-based interventions and support the student's team in designing and implementing the ongoing progress monitoring required to evaluate the effectiveness of the BSP.
